The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) shall exercise its best judgment to the end that all changes, improvements and alterations requested for properties within Sun City Summerlin conform to and harmonize with the existing surroundings, residences, landscaping and structures.  All plans are to be submitted to the Community Standards Office for review by ARC committee members.

The Hearing Committee works closely with the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) who enforces/approves the standards and restrictions set forth in the Master Declaration and in the Development Standards. If it is determined that work completed on any Lot is not in compliance with final plans approved by the ARC, or if other violations are found to exist, the Office of Community Standards conducts necessary inspections, notifies Owners of noncompliance and requires Owners to remedy the violations. Owners who fail to comply upon request of the Office of Community Standards will be requested to appear before a panel of the Hearing Committee who will conduct a hearing on the matter, render a decision and if the decision is against the owner, impose applicable fines.
